A Letter From My Mom

Twenty-nine years ago I stepped out of a comfortable career and into the world of Real Estate and self-employment. I never expected to follow my mom’s path. She began her Real Estate career when I was in 5th grade, becoming a licensed Real Estate Broker in 8 states and managing offices for 3 of the nation’s 10 largest real estate companies. She spent decades selling, managing, and training the Realtors of today. Having only lived in Rochester for a year, my Mom wrote the letter below for me to share with potential clients I interviewed with as I began to build a new career and business.

She inspired my oldest sister Barbara, youngest sister Eileen, grandson Myron, and myself to pursue successful careers as Realtors. Throughout my whole life, she constantly echoed “Son, you can do anything you want and become anything you wish.” And when I had my doubts she would ask, “How will you feel if you don’t try?”

Thank you for being part of this incredible legacy, mom.
